An innovative twist on a classic dish that's as delicious as it is sustainable. We've taken the humble banana peel, transformed it into a smoky sensation, and used it to wrap tender green beans. The result is a mouth-watering combination that marries the earthy freshness of green beans with the savoury, smoky allure of banana peel bacon.

What kind of miso paste is used? Dark or white miso? I think you should add that the bananas have to be of organic origin. The peel of "normal" bananas isn't edible at all. Thanks for the recipe!

Hey Gabriela, we tend to use white miso paste as it's less salty and milder in taste. That said, you can opt for other types, such as red miso paste, if you like a saltier taste. Thanks for the feedback about the bananas as well. We've updated the recipe ☺️✨

You are supposed to eat them.

Do we eat the banana peels?? Or is it just to add flavor to the beans...
